Chandramukhi-2 or Billa-2 For Ajith

Ajith was expected to take up 'Billa-2'after 'Mankatha' but as things stand now he is likely to take up the P. Vasu film chandramukhi-2 next. Director Vasu had directed 'Aaptharakshaka' the bumper hit movie in Kannada that is breaking all time Kannada records. Aaptharakshaka 'was a sequel to 'Apthamithra' which was later remade in Tamil as Chandramukhi starring Super Star Rajnikanth.

P. Vasu was planning to remake the sequel film  in Tamil and Telugu and was looking for Rajnikanth to do it as well. Even the super star liked the movie after a special screening and news were abuzz saying Rajini has agreed to do the film. But it was some in Feb and the Super Star got busy with Endhiran.And  P vasu decided he will instead make a Telugu and tamil version seperate.And has signed Venkatesh for the telugu version titled Nagavalli, And while he was hunting for a star , seems the Super Star had suggested Ajith for the film. Apparently Rajini  one of the closest well wishers of Ajith ,has told Ajith too that the film will fetch him a better reach and name.At the same time following the performance of Asal at the box office Ajith had assured Shivaji films to do another film for them is this the right click.

Now the latest is that Thala has agreed to do the film on the advice of Super Star.
